THE TIME IS RIGHT ... Mikel is looking forward to a reunion with Mourinho
JOHN OBI MIKEL has revealed how Jose Mourinho is the talk of the Chelsea dressing room.
Mourinho looks set to make a dramatic return as Stamford Bridge boss at the end of the season.
And midfield star Mikel said: “We are all talking about who is coming in.
“Jose is a very special person and makes decisions in a very special way. If he is the one coming back it will be a big plus for the club.
“We shouldn’t forget it’s not done yet and neither is the season. If it’s not Jose we will have to get on with the job.
“I think the future is exciting for Chelsea. Whoever the club choose to come in, we are professionals and will respect the club’s decision and we have to work with him.”
Mikel has had EIGHT different managers at the Blues since he arrived in 2006.
And the Nigerian is praying that the Special One can finally bring some stability to West London.
He added: “Sometimes when you play under a lot of managers in a short period it starts to play in your head.”
Meanwhile, Mikel fears Alex Ferguson’s exit will make it HARDER for Chelsea to win the title next season.
David Moyes will replace the legendary boss at Old Trafford after the Manchester United boss called time on his 27-year reign.
Some pundits reckon Fergie’s exit could spell the beginning of the end for United’s Premier League dominance.
But Mikel warned: “It’s going to be even harder to win the title next season because everyone at United will want to prove themselves.
“Sir Alex has been their mentor, he has been behind every trophy, but the players will want to show they are good as well without him. I think it’s going to be very tough next season.”
