The simple things! Eddie Murphy takes his model girlfriend Paige Butcher for their daily coffee date

His career as an actor means he's not short of cash.
But Eddie Murphy and girlfriend Paige Butcher like nothing more than to go for a coffee.
Once again on Thursday the 52-year-old comedian and his 33-year-old Australian model girlfriend headed to a local Coffee Bean hand-in-hand for a cup o' Joe.

He can't help but be funny: Murphy spotted photographers and reacted, mugging for the cameras and walking towards them while Butcher looked on, amused

Murphy sported an all-white Adidas tracksuit with black stripes along the arms and legs, as well as fashionable black-rimmed glasses.
Meanwhile, Butcher wore sunglasses, a faded denim button-up with blue jeans and yellow flats.
While sipping their coffee on the way out in Studio City, the Nutty Professor actor noticed the photographers and gave them a thumbs-up, while others in the area snapped pictures.
Then Murphy pretended to walk towards them with a comic seriousness, while Butcher looked on in the background, clearly amused by her comic boyfriend's antics.

The pair have reportedly been dating since last Fall, when Murphy was first seen with her at Spike Network's comedy special honoring him called Eddie Murphy: One Night Only.
Before meeting the Aussie beauty, the 48 Hrs. actor had been linked to BET host Rosci Diaz and singer Toni Braxton.
Butcher, who has been described as a homebody and a cross between Martha Stewart and Bob Vila by friends, previously dated model Tyson Beckford and hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.
Murphy recently appeared in a pilot for a Beverly Hills Cop television series where the son of his character Axel Foley becomes a cop in the Beverly Hills police force and struggles to get out of his father's shadow.
