The French-born center back, 26, progressed through the ranks of Ligue 2 with Brest before being signed by the Spanish.
After moving to Real Sociedad in 2016, he assisted them in winning the Copa del Rey three years later.
He assisted the team in finishing in fourth place in La Liga the previous season, and his performances were immediately recognized internationally.
He joined the team that earned the Uefa Nations League trophy in the summer and made his debut for Spain earlier this year.
Le Normand has started each of his team's three group stage matches this season, continuing his excellent record both at home and in the Champions League.
