Lady Gaga licks a 'monster' hand in bizarre leaked footage for new album ARTPOP

She has a new album on the way and fans of Lady Gaga can rest assured that it will provide just as many eccentricities as her previous work to date.
A new and very strange video, believed to be part of promotional work for the singer’s upcoming album ARTPOP, has been leaked online.
In the 23 second clip, Lady Gaga repeatedly licks a monster like hand in slow motion.

The claw pops up from the bottom of the screen and looks like a plastic mannequin hand, although parts of the yellowish paint have chipped off.

The 27-year-old places the fingers in her mouth over and over again and licks them while making eye contact with the camera.

A wind machine is blowing back Gaga’s glossy brunette locks in the clip, and she sports dewy eye make-up and lots of lip gloss.

Gaga’s fans, or her Little Monsters as she likes to call them, are no doubt excited to hear the first single from the album, details of which have largely been kept under wraps.

It was revealed earlier this month that ARTPOP’s debut track will be released on August 19.


Meanwhile the album itself will hit the shelves and be available for download on November 11, with pre-orders beginning September 1.

A statement recently revealed that the record 'musically mirrors Gaga’s creative process as she passes through the medium of each artist she collaborates with, scoring a blueprint on her journey.'

Gaga sparked rumours that she will soon be announcing more details of the record when she closed down her Twitter account last week.

Meanwhile, a new tell-all book about the New Yorker, penned by her pal Brendan Jay Sullivan, is set to be released August 27.

The book, titled Rivington Was Ours: Lady Gaga, the Lower East Side, and the Prime of Our Lives, documents the You And I hit-maker’s rise to fame and her transformation from aspiring singer Stefani Germanotta into a global superstar.
