Lady Gaga draws a crowd in stunning white ahead of her performance on Good Morning America

She’s used to turning heads, so it was no surprise to see Lady Gaga drawing a crowd when she ventured out in her native New York on Sunday.
The outlandish singer stepped out in a white mini-dress that, by her own, unconventional standards, was relatively low key ahead of her forthcoming appearance on Good Morning America.
Gaga, 27, matched her dress with a pair of towering white platform boots and long white jacket that trailed across the sidewalk as fans gathered for a photo opportunity.

The singer also showed off an unsightly blemish on her right knee during her latest day out, possibly caused during one of her numerous promotional performances for forthcoming album ARTPOP.

 

Gaga divided fans earlier this month when she performed a set of entirely new songs from her third LP during an much vaunted opening set at the iTunes Festival in London.
The hit-maker was back on onstage at a special performance honouring V magazine editor Stephen Gan at the Fashion Media Awards on Saturday evening.

A whiter shade of pale: The outlandish singer opted for an entirely neutral outfit comprised of white skirt, coat and platform shoes on Sunday 

A less intimate performance is scheduled to take place in New York on Monday when Gaga continues her promotional campaign with a live performance on daily breakfast show GMA.
Referring to the imminent performance last week, the singer told fans to expect a Wizard of Oz themed set when she performs her latest single.
‘I will Be LIVE on @GMA this Monday Morning Sept 9 performing APPLAUSE in a ‘GAGA of OZ’ theatrical rendition,’ she tweeted on September 6.

A rhymed message posed on the micro-blogging site shortly afterwards read: ‘When Dorothy goes GLAM snatches all the weaves of OZ outsmarting the Wicked West as she thrills you with APPLAUSE.’
Gaga has since posted images of the aptly coloured shoes she plans to wear during her live performance.
‘Always sleep with my dance shoes before a performance. There’s no place like home #Applause,’ she wrote on Sunday, alongside a picture of some glittering red boots resting on a pillow.
ARTPOP goes on general release on November 11.
