Eminem makes awkward ESPN appearance

Los Angeles - Eminem freaked out during an interview on Saturday night.

The Not Afraid hitmaker looked dazed and confused as he made a rare live TV appearance on ESPN's Saturday Night Football to share a clip of his new music video Berserk during halftime coverage of the Michigan vs Notre Dame game.

The rapper was introduced, by hosts Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit, as his real name Marshall Mathers and gazed confusingly into the camera with his mouth open as he swayed in his chair.

After an awkward silence, he then confessed: "I'm really uncomfortable right now. Live TV freaks me out a little bit."

Nothing about album excites him

The 40-year-old star was asked about his new projects and admitted he isn't particularly looking forward to his return to music.

Asked how long it took to complete the video, he said: "It's usually like a two day process, sometimes it can go to three. It's a lot of takes, it's a lot of sitting around waiting. It's cool. If the video comes out, I guess it's worth it."

He also said that "nothing" about his upcoming album excites him.

Shrugging his shoulders, he added: "When it will be out November 5, I'll probably be most excited to be done with it. It's called The Marshall Mathers LP 2 and it's kind of a revisit to the first Marshall Mathers LP and that's pretty much all I can probably say about it."
