Mikel and Brazilian, Ramires, who already have fallen out of the pecking

Mikel, who
joined Chelsea from Lyn Oslo in 2006, failed to play into coach Jose
Mourinho’s minds last season starting just three of the side’s Premier
League second half games. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old has attracted
interest from Galatasaray, Monaco and Inter Milan as his days in England
appears to be numbered. Chelsea recently landed Spanish striker Diego
Costa and midfielder Cesc Fabregas from Atletico Madrid and Barcelona
respectively and Mourinho is yet poised to continue in his ‘Blues’
rebuilding process.
