Beyonce carried her daughter Blue Ivy in her arms as they left a business meeting in New York on Thursday

She's a superstar performer who is used to being waited on hand and foot but when it comes to her daughter Beyonce Knowles is happy to play second fiddle.
The XO singer attended a business meeting in New York on Thursday with two-year-old Blue Ivy and the exhausted youngster had to be carried out by her mother.
Cradling her protectively in her arms, Beyonce flashed a big smile as Blue snuggled into her.

Beyonce, 32, was dressed in cropped green trousers, heels and a striped coat while Blue was well wrapped up from the New York chill.

She was dressed in a puffa jacket, colourful skirt and tights and her face was hidden by her hood.
Practical Beyonce pulled her blonde hair back off her face but added a slick of red lipstick.

The performer – who is married to Jay Z - recently insisted being a mother and wife are the most important things in her life.
In the second installment of her 'mini-art feature' video Queen B declared 'Nothing feels like my child singing "mummy". No, nothing feels like when I look my husband in the eyes, nothing feels like when I'm respected, when I get on the stage and I see I'm changing people’s lives.'

During the less than five minute clip, the 32-year-old superstar insisted her message with her latest 'visual album' was 'finding the beauty in imperfection' and that she is now all about putting more love, happiness and fun in her life.
None of that, however, compares to the joy she receives from daughter Blue Ivy and husband Jay-Z.

'Those are the things that matter,' Beyonce declared emphatically, 'and at this point in my life that's what I'm striving for - growth, love, happiness, fun.'
As for what message she is trying to impart? 'Enjoy your life - its short,' she insisted, 'that's the message!

While Jay didn't join his girls, he was spotted joking around with a fan as he left his own business meeting.
Dressed casually in a grey hoodie, black jacket and black trousers he appeared in high spirits as he jumped into a waiting limo.
The 44-year-old rapper then drove to a heliport where he took a helicopter out of Manhattan.
