Old Trafford target Thiago pictured in Manchester United strip

Old Trafford target Thiago Alcantara has been pictured wearing a Manchester United shirt.
In a recent interview with Thiago's father and Brazil World Cup winner Mazinho, the £15million rated star can be seen wearing a United shirt from the famous treble winning campaign of 1999.
Although the photo, first published by fan site Republik of Mancunia, may have been taken the best part of 15 years ago, it will hand a boost to United fans hopeful of seeing the Barcelona star heading to Manchester this summer.

Thiago is continuing to push for a move to the Barclays Premier League champions after being told by Barca boss Tito Vilanova that he cannot be guaranteed more games.
Vilanova has tried to reassure the 22-year-old that he forms a crucial part of the club's future, but the player has grown frustrated falling behind Andres Iniesta, Xavi and Cesc Fabregas in the pecking order and wants to become part of the first XI, having made just 15 league starts for Barca last season.

Thiago, who scored a hat-trick in the final of the recent Under 21 European Championship as part of Spain's winning team, has also had an offer from Bayern Munich and interest from Manchester City.
Thiago would represent David Moyes's first major signing for Manchester United, and this latest revelation will surely provide hope for the former Everton manager.
